Bohemian Rhapsody is 4th on Channel 4's top 100 music videos. Although some artists had made video clips to accompany their songs, Queen was the first to make a full music video and after Bohemian Rhapsody it became common practice for record labels to produce a promotional video for artists' single releases. This video was created so that the band would not have to continually keep flying over from other countries while on tour to appear on shows such as Top of the Pops, they could show a music video instead and after Queen done this many other artists followed.
